Er, not a hoodie. It's an actual Chinese jacket I bought at the mall. :P Yeah, thankfully they size them a bit larger so XXL was perfect (since they're sized for men, I suppose. Even my large Master Balls fit in it XD) Hm, if I had any idea what your size was, dear, I'd pick you up one and you could pay me back. It's like, all of $20.
Yeah, I see it. I'm tending to agree with you. I'll need to grab Andy a matching jacket if I can...though mom thinks it may be a bit dark on him. But he's adorable with a ponytail... Seriously, he's rocking this little ponytail that looks kind of colonial. Too bad boys don't tend to fawn when you bring along an adorable brother. :P *researches pics*
well in the picture it looked like a hoodie :'( ... ... ... IN ANY CASE I DON'T CARE I WANT IT.
The only oriental clothing I have is a kimono, not a complete one, just the outermost layer that has all the pretty stuff on it. If I ever go to a con I'll buy an inner layer and an obi (and learn how to tie it correctly) Oh, and the sandals too, maybe one of those pretty little paper parasols they sell at the mall. (It's nor really legit stuff, just cheap crap but it would look nice enough)
Maybe I can get you one for your BDay? Not that I have any idea of your size...
Oh, you have one too? I've got this gorgeous black one with magenta cranes and gold and lots of nice colors. Like you, though, it's a outer piece. Look online and get an idea of price ranges before you do. Cons may up the price.. Yeah. Legit stuff is expensive and is best to buy piece by piece as you have extra money. Before that, cheap, nice looking stuff works fine. Cosplay works that way too, from what I can tell.
As for sandals, the closest I have to nice ones are some I bought at walmart. The look is kind f a brocade, but I have to deal with the stupid thong part between the toes XD
mine is white and has beautiful flower filled carts all over it. I like the sound of yours better but I just love the detail, even the cart itself is black with silver details on it, and there are many different flowers of many different colors and stuff... I'll have to take a picture.
Anyways, if you bought one for me I wouldn't be able to pay you back and I'm not comfortable giving out my address yo begin with but that you, it's a nice thought.
I bought my kimono at a consignment shop, I'd keep looking online for cheap prices for stuff (or look at those cheap store at the mall that you kind of know are low quality knock offs but are cheap and pretty and serve the intended purposes). Anyways, I don't even live in a town that has cons so I'd have to travel as little bit to go to one :)
I'll post some pics of mine to at some point. And whatever I buy at momocon. Considering I'll have roughly $180, I should be able to buy some things.
That's why it's a BIRTHDAY present. You aren't supposed to pay me back... I promise I don't stalk XD
Most of the stuff out there is pretty cheap... PicaPica at the mall has a Sailor fuku for Sailor Moon, and blech. The fabric looked horrible, it was some sort of shiny crap... ;_;

Hm, have you checked online for NY cons?
