yep, it was in a car, thankfully they rented a nice car... but it basically went like this:
-Drive for an entire day stop and spend the night as step-dad's friend's house who lives around DC -Drive all of the next day -DESTINATION!
with food and potty breaks sprinkled in.
it wasn't too bad, though sometimes I did get a little ancy about being in a small space for so long with no way to get out. It was mostly towards the end of the trip.
